Description of Your Business:
Alien Inquisition is an experimental, psychedelic rock duo from Detroit. They take an unconventional approach to song writing, using atypical song structures and intensely poetic lyrics to produce a driving and enticing sound. Alien Inquisition successfully and creatively tackle psychedelic and experimental rock in a way that leaves listeners wondering how a two-piece band can create such a huge and varied sound.

Every performance Alien Inquisition did in 2008 was by personal invitation from a venue or show organizer. The band was invited for the second year in a row to play the Xcape Con convention in Flint. The Xcape Con 2 performance landed the band a spot on the Nightmare Sinema program on Channel 20, Detroit. Alien inquistion played countless other shows in and around the Detroit area, gaining new fans and continuing to receive attention for the rich sound being produced by merely a two-piece band.

In 2008, Alien Inquisition greatly increased their internet presence, which included publishing their own Tivo channel and being featured in two interviews for Xiie.net, one for their merchandise section and one for the home page of the site. Alien Inquisition also signed up with Number One Music and in just a few weeks received thousands of plays and profile views, greatly increasing their fan base worldwide and garnering them an array of glowing reviews. Alien Inquistion was also excited to be invited by The Alien Agenda-- an online forum and publication-- to do an hour-long feature for their online podcast and to be featured in the music section of their website. In addition, Alien Inquisition was approached once again by A&R Select regarding representing the band.

Releases by Alien Inquisition include: “A Dent In the Oblong Triangle” (2005); “Among Us” (2006); "One Way Mirror" (2007); “Faceless” (2007); “Evolution 5 (compilation)” (2008); and "The New Union" (2009), their first full-length album. All of their releases are self-produced and self-recorded.

Alien Inquisition is available for touring, live performances, and contract work for film, audio books and video game soundtracks. The band is not limited to playing in the Detroit area and invites requests to play live shows anywhere.
