Just To Be Blessed!
When we really settle down, sit back, and listen to God, we can truly understand what it means to be blessed.
Blessed in Hebrew is esher, and it means happy. What reasons do we have to not be happy? Is it because the economy is bad and many have lost, or are losing jobs? Is it due to the fact that every time you step out of your house, or pick up your phone, or even entering the church, someone meets you with some type of negativity? Is it because we feel our trials and tribulations are not fair, because we pay our tithes, and we live our lives as closely as we can to how the Bible instructs us, and it seems that every dope dealer, murderer, thief, and etc is better off than us?
All of these and more are some of the things that we as God's children have allowed to creep into our carnal minds, and take our focus off The Lord.
I often have people tell me that it seems I never let anything bother me. My wife often tells me that I don't worry about anything.
Why should I, when I have a God that sustains me through all things. Psalms 55:22 states, "Cast thy burdens upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee." I believe in that, and I can witness to that.
Corinthians tells us that the Lord will not put anymore on us than we can bear.
I have something that I would love to share with all of you. This is my take on life and it's how I look at it each and everyday.
"I'm just blessed to be in the Love of God, and to have a strong relationship with Him. When others are seemingly focused on the carnality of this world, I'm blessed to rise above the foolishness, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit."
My prayer is that all of us would share Jesus with someone different everyday, until everyone's mindset from the church to the white house, and all around the globe realizes we can't do it without God in our lives.
